Deze Bladnoch werd nog onder het bewind van het toenmalige United Distillers (het huidige Diageo) gedistilleerd. Gebottelde historie dus en inmiddels met een zeer respectabele leeftijd. De whisky rijpte op bourbon hogshead MoS 22011. Bij botteling in 2022 leverde dit vat nog 233 flessen op.

Een zeer oude Glen Moray in de Rare Casks serie van Malts of Scotland. Het komt niet vaak voor dat je een 33-jarige Glen Moray tegenkomt. De whisky combineert een rijke, bijna uitbundige fruitigheid met een gelaagdheid en complexiteit die zijn leeftijd eer aandoet. Hij kreeg zijn rijping op bourbon hogshead MoS 21048. Er werden in 2021 98 flessen met een vatsterkte van 53.7% gebotteld.

Nieuw in de reeks van Malts of Schotland zijn de ’Images’ bottelingen.In deze nieuwe reeks worden de namen van de distilleerderij niet vrijgegeven. Er is hier een goede reden voor, de vaten van deze single malt whisky’s zijn afkomstig uit de blended industrie en zijn daardoor nooit bedoeld om als single malt te worden gebotteld. Het positieve is dat bij de blended industrie ook grote bekende distilleerderijen zitten die je normaal niet of niet vaak tegenkomt als botteling van een onafhankelijke bottelaar.
